How to enable and disable Hibernate in Windows Vista

Sometime people find it hard to enable and disable the Hibernate feature in Windows Vista because it is not same as in windows XP. Here is a small DOS code that will easy up your job.

Open Run
Type “CMD” without quotes.
Type
powercfg /hibernate on   : This will enable the hibernate option

How to Disable Hibernate option in Vista?

Disabling Hibernate option in vista is again the same. Follow the above procedure and Use” “Off” instead of “On”.
powercfg /hibernate off
