Microsoft to release 10 Windows Patches on Tuesday

It looks like this month’s Patch Tuesday is going to be full of fun with 10 patches for Windows and 2 for Office. Here is a brief overview of what to expect from the updates:

* Ten Microsoft Security Bulletins affecting Microsoft Windows. The highest Maximum Severity rating for these is Critical. These updates will be detectable using the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer and the Enterprise Scan Tool.

*Two Microsoft Security Bulletins affecting Microsoft Office. The highest Maximum Severity rating for these is Critical. These updates will be detectable using the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer. These updates may require a restart.

*Microsoft will release an updated version of the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool on Windows Update, Microsoft Update, Windows Server Update Services and the Download Center.

It is always nice to know ahead of time whether these updates will require you to restart your computer and it looks like these will certainly require restart.
